Retirement Ready: Custom Cabinets for Mike’s Dream Home in Queen Creek
When Mike built his beautiful new home in Queen Creek to retire in, he had one goal in mind—create a space that was organized, functional, and built to last. With a four-car garage, a massive RV garage, and a laundry room that needed some love, Mike called us in to help bring his vision to life.
And what a vision it was.
🚗 House Garage: Upper Cabinets with Purpose
In the house garage, Mike wanted upper cabinets installed around the top of the walls—high enough to walk under without bumping his head, and just above a large electrical panel to avoid interference. Thanks to the tall ceilings, we designed 45″ tall cabinets that still left nearly 7 feet of clearance underneath.
The result? Clean lines, maximum storage, and a layout that looks like it was built into the home from day one.
🚐 RV Garage: A Tall Order, Perfectly Delivered
Mike’s RV garage was a beast—oversized, voluminous, and ready for serious storage. He asked for cabinets that were just over 10 feet tall and nearly 24 feet long, and we delivered.
- 20 drawers under a 9-foot workbench, perfectly placed between his water chiller and exterior door
- A 3-foot tall grey slatwall backsplash for tools, chargers, and accessories
- Three large upper cabinets above the workbench for even more storage
- A dedicated stool space so Mike could sit comfortably while working on projects
But Mike wasn’t done yet.
He wanted 8 more drawers added to the design—without expanding the workbench. While it’s not conventional to add drawers to a non-workbench cabinet run, we got creative and made it happen. The final layout is seamless, functional, and exactly what Mike envisioned.
And yes, you’ll want to check out the photos of our team standing next to those 10-foot cabinets. They’re impressive—but in a space that large, they look perfectly at home.
🧺 Laundry Room: A Space You’ll Actually Want to Use
Mike’s wife had her own request: a laundry room that made folding, sorting, and ironing easier—and maybe even enjoyable.
We installed an almost 12-foot long countertop with 18 drawers underneath (well, technically 17—because one of them hides a folding, rotating ironing board that slides out and tucks away like magic).
Above the counter, we added a clothes hanging rod so freshly ironed shirts could be hung immediately—no wrinkles, no wasted effort. Paired with additional upper cabinets, the space is now as beautiful as it is functional.
🧠 Design That Works for Real Life
This job took a full week to install, and every minute was worth it. From the towering RV cabinets to the hidden ironing board, every detail was tailored to Mike and his family’s lifestyle.
Now Mike’s garage—and laundry room—are the talk of the neighborhood. And we couldn’t be prouder to have helped make it happen.
Thinking about upgrading your own space? Whether it’s a garage, laundry room, or something in between, we’re here to help you build storage that fits your life—and looks incredible doing it.
