To match the bold aesthetic, Craig and Shellie chose matte black Fusion Plus metal cabinets by ProSlat. These cabinets are built from 18-gauge North American steel, powder-coated for durability, and finished with Traffic Grey handles to add just the right amount of contrast and pop.

Above the workbench, we installed custom lighting that serves dual purposes: bright, functional illumination for projects, and cool, ambient mood lighting for everything else. Whether it’s poker night or a solo garage hangout, the vibe is always on point.

To finish off the workbench area, we added a black carbon fiber slatwall backsplash—perfect for hanging tools and accessories while maintaining the sleek, blackout look.

And above it all? A row of horizontal cabinets with gas struts, opening like a hatchback for easy access and a futuristic feel. It’s a smart use of vertical space and adds a ton of extra storage without cluttering the design.
