Maximized Space, Big Results: Chandler Garage Upgrade

On January 29, 2025, we completed a compact yet highly efficient project for John in Chandler. While this job was smaller in scope, calling for just two 8-foot sections of Monkey Bars shelving and one set of hanging “Adjustable Shelves,” the transformation was anything but minor.

With the 10-foot-high ceilings in John’s garage, we strategically installed the shelving about 7 feet off the ground. This placement provided ample clearance for vehicles and people (unless Shaquille O’Neal happens to visit!) while still leaving enough vertical space to stack three 17-gallon storage totes or two 27-gallon storage totes on top each shelf vertically (see photos). The Monkey Bars system proved, once again, how it excels at making the most of every inch.

John’s newly organized space now effortlessly accommodates bicycles, baby strollers, lawn chairs, a shop vacuum, skateboards, and various lawn tools—all while leaving plenty of room for future storage additions. The best part? Even with all their belongings neatly stored, John and his family can still park two cars in the garage without a hitch.

This project is a great example of how even a smaller job can have a big impact when it’s designed with both functionality and style in mind. Here’s to John and his sleek, organized garage!
